Demo version of The Trees That Might Be Dying from request for proposals.
Just before the National Office expanded its membership I was working on the follow-up to Memorandum of Understanding as another solo record. Trees was one of the earliest ideas, and I was thrilled with the way the guitars layered and soared in the main riff, but it was always hard to mix it right. The final version on RFP was definitely way better overall, but I like how the guitars and drum (machine) here sound nice and dunedin-ey
