Hands 03:05
the desert sun will light up your direction and stick your shoes to the road you are running on. Would you like to say a word about things that you know nothing about? You could show me anything you wanted to except what's in your hands. I won't see the enemy you're running from, tearing you away from your companions. You let your feelings spin the world around and you won't show me what you have found. You could show me anything you wanted to except what's in your hands. The road where you were running on.
2.
Even though I guess I never see you, you're only ever half the world away. It's easy to pretend when I am with you, easy to pretend that I'm not wasting my time half the world away. Breathing - the sun has gone. Lonely - are you the only one that's dreaming? Lying next to me, wasting my time. I'm half the world away. You know that nothing ever really goes away. You say that nothing ever really goes away.

Millicent 02:35
Millicent is happy enough to be around simplicity; she hasn't a care in the world. And not enough benevolence to be around, but she is hiding out in every town I know. You've been a long time with me now, a long time to be around but it is over now. And Millicent there's nothing simple at all. Millicent is lucky enough to know about comedy and tragedy and time.
4.
I know people who think like no other; derelict, and a private cloud for cover. It's the work of the vice, that crushes all but its price. I know people who dream of sleep at night. Chemical alarm, with mirror, note, and knife. Whose better selves know better than to try - in sickness and in health, until death, they rely.
5.
There's no precedent I'm told, for growing up without growing old - you can't call after you fold. And I'm accustomed to it all and don't expect a miracle, rehearsing words you won't recall. And for all your goodness' sake, you've got more things to make, and it's alright, it's okay. I see you standing there alone, you say you will when I know you won't, but it's alright, it's okay. The lightbulb buzzes on.
