Previously unreleased electronic demo of "Nervous Thing Suffering" from Request for Proposals.
This song started on an acoustic guitar in 1999, after a big life shake-up and is about trying to restore some sense of routine in a whole new setup. It was called "idiot" then. Po-Ha picked it up for a time in our set and played a hard and fast indie version called shudder, which I also loved, but I always felt the original tragic acoustic dirge had something going for it. I'd also been listening to a lot of things like the Notwist and wanted to see if I could fuse electronic and real, and I tried to sing it so I didn't sound like me.
